Every year we come together to meet old friends, welcome new ones, and enjoy a weekend in one of Britain’s most beautiful outdoor locations.
Our National Gathering is a chance to explore the countryside, take part in walks and activities, share food, and enjoy the social side of Red Rope.
Recent gatherings have taken place at Thornbridge Outdoors in Great Longstone, a fantastic base in the heart of the Peak District. With easy access to the Monsal Trail, gritstone edges like Froggatt and Stanage, and nearby villages such as Bakewell, it’s the perfect location for walking, cycling, climbing, swimming, or simply relaxing with tea and cake at Monsal Head.
